HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Jan. 23, 2005 – Intergraph
Intergraph’s geospatial intelligence solutions enable military and intelligence agencies to capture, create, manage, exploit and distribute geospatial information across organizations – addressing the need for interoperable, standards-based technology and services that integrate complex data into a single, functional picture. This allows organizations to select and combine the right data from diverse sources into a single environment for quicker, more accurate decision making and response.
Intergraph will be a key participant in the Open Geospatial Consortium’s (OGC’s) pre-conference Interoperability Day. The collaborative interoperability demonstration, based on a geospatial intelligence exploitation scenario, will involve numerous spatial technology companies and will show how frameworks of standardized interfaces, information entities, objects, models and encodings can provide a common understanding and exchange of geospatial intelligence information and services. Intergraph’s Image Scout, an image exploitation component in the multi-vendor display of standards-based Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (SCOTS) geospatial tools, will be highlighted in the demonstration.
“Intergraph and military intelligence have a partnership that spans 35 years,” said Fiona Hopkinson, Global Program Manager, Geospatial Intelligence, Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions. “Geospatial intelligence leaders around the world depend on Intergraph military and intelligence solutions to manage and visually represent their complex information – helping them meet their operational goals.”
Image Scout will also be highlighted at the Intergraph booth (#3) throughout the show. This powerful solution for advanced image exploitation helps image analysts solve the dilemma of analyzing an ever-increasing volume of imagery from many sources and generating intelligence reports more quickly than ever before. Image Scout provides an environment for integration and analysis of multi-source geospatial data, including imagery, map features and elevation data, which helps analysts perform their activities with increased effectiveness. The product enables quick and accurate broad area search operations of digital imagery using geospatial fusion and advanced image comparisons.
In addition, desktop, Web and mobile technologies for streamlining workflows of diverse intelligence activities, such as strategic planning, mission planning, asset tracking and emergency response, will be featured in the Intergraph booth. The demonstrations will showcase capabilities to:
-- Facilitate generation of a common relevant operating picture (CROP)
-- Improve planning and decision making using analysis and visualization
-- Share data across the enterprise and around the world
-- Access data and integrate it into data collection, product generation and exploitation workflows - regardless of location or format
