Intergraph Corporation Appoints Steven Bonifas to National Sales Manager

Bonifas brings leadership and expertise from past industry achievements

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., September 6, 2006 – Intergraph Corporation (NASDAQ: INGR) today announced that Steven Bonifas has joined the company to oversee the U.S. sales team focused on the Utilities and Communications industries.  In his role as national sales manager, Bonifas will assist in the development of strategy for growing the business and expanding the current customer base.

Bonifas brings more than 20 years of sales, sales management, and software marketing experience to Intergraph.  In 1991, Bonifas became the first North American employee of Smallworld Systems.  He helped found Smallworld's North American business in 1993 and was the company's first North American salesman and then became the first North American sales manager.  Most recently, Bonifas served as vice president of sales and marketing for Ten Sails Consulting, formerly TerraPrise, an organization that provides consulting services to the GE Smallworld customer base.
