Intergraph GeoMedia Technology Selected For First Digital Cadastre of Andorra (Europe)
Municipal Cadastre of Comu d'Encamp Awards Contract to SADIM-ATICSA
HUNTSVILLE, Ala., August 8, 2006 – Intergraph Corporation <NASDAQ: INGR> announced today that SADIM-ATICSA, an Intergraph Registered Solutions Provider, has been selected by the Municipal Cadastre of Comu d’Encamp, Andorra, to provide geospatial technology facilitating the first digital cadastre of Andorra.
Comu d’Encamp is a municipality of 13,000, and accounts for approximately 17 percent of the population of Andorra. The Municipal Cadastre of Comu d’Encamp cadastre will leverage the GeoMedia® platform’s power to bring data from disparate databases into a single GIS environment for viewing, analysis, and presentation, drawing upon information from multiple departments within the municipality to create a single, up-to-date representation of property data within its borders.
It will provide users with easy-to-use, standard tools, to create high-quality cartographic output. This information can then be shared via the Web, with printed copies, or by simple file transfer.
