HUNTSVILLE, Ala., February 17, 2012 - Intergraph® announces its 2012 North American Transportation Summit to be held on February 28-March 1, at the Westin Hotel in Huntsville, Alabama, USA. Intergraph offers this event to its transportation industry customers across North America as a forum to share ideas for future solution enhancements, engage with peers from other North American transportation agencies and learn about new product updates and enhancements.
Intergraph’s anchor sessions include customer presentations that provide real-world business issues and solutions. Participants will hear the Arkansas State Highway Transportation Department’s discussion on hotspot analysis for roadways; New Jersey Transit’s smarter bus planning by leveraging GeoMedia® Fusion with GeoMedia WebMap and Oklahoma Department of Transportation’s project update for automated routing and permitting. Participants will also learn about Intergraph’s multilevel linear referencing system (MLRS) and roadway data management with a presentation on Mississippi Department of Transportation’s use of Intergraph’s solution to build, maintain and analyze a multilevel, temporal linear referencing system for representing road networks.
Customers that attend the Summit will also hear from Intergraph’s product development center on new products for transportation, online product training, and demonstrations of latest products and enhancements. The sessions will also provide the future direction of Intergraph/ERDAS integration, including new offerings for LiDAR, remote sensing, enterprise image management and more.
