HUNTSVILLE, Ala. , Oct. 9, 2012 -- Intergraph® announces that the upcoming release of ERDAS IMAGINE will include dynamic tools that will enable users to more thoroughly visualize, analyze and manage their point clouds.
ERDAS IMAGINE combines advanced remote sensing with spatial modeling to create new information. As part of the comprehensive Intergraph Geospatial 2013 release, ERDAS IMAGINE 2013 will offer a new viewing technology to simultaneously view point clouds in 2D and 3D. This new viewing technology also supports a user-specified profile that can reveal cross sections of the point cloud. ERDAS IMAGINE 2013 also includes new tools to classify, subset and filter point data, as well as allow users to RGB encode the data.
"Intergraph Geospatial 2013 connects all geospatial genres by integrating photogrammetry, remote sensing, and GIS into a streamlined system, seamlessly connecting the desktop to the server," said Mladen Stojic, Vice President – Geospatial, Intergraph. "In ERDAS IMAGINE 2013, we've added exciting new capabilities that allow you to do more with your data, including leveraging the power of LiDAR to drive smarter decisions."
Intergraph Geospatial 2013 is the complete and robust approach to understanding your geospatial needs. With this release, the full spectrum of geospatial capabilities is available from a single provider, simplifying purchasing and maintenance. Intergraph Geospatial 2013 includes new releases of GeoMedia, ERDAS IMAGINE, LPS, ImageStation, ERDAS APOLLO, GeoMedia Smart Client, GeoMedia WebMap, Geospatial Portal, and Geospatial SDI.
