HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Oct. 23, 2012 — Intergraph® announces that ERDAS IMAGINE® 2013 will include a next-generation spatial modeler that features an all-new, modern interface and provides real-time preview of results. Offering greater flexibility and efficiencies, this new approach will significantly enhance core spatial modeling capabilities.
In addition to the ERDAS IMAGINE raster operators, the new spatial modeler will incorporate GeoMedia vector and grid operators to greatly extend the problem-solving capability. With the ability to incorporate operators from other software, the new Python scripting will also allow users to extend the utility of the modeler, providing greater flexibility.
As part of Intergraph Geospatial 2013, ERDAS IMAGINE 2013 will provide the most advanced remote sensing analysis and spatial modeling capabilities – allowing users to visualize their results in 2D, 3D, movies, and on cartographic-quality map compositions.
