HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Oct. 30, 2012 – Intergraph announces that ERDAS IMAGINE 2013 will include all of the LPS tools and features within the ERDAS IMAGINE ribbon. This release offers more simplified workflows for photogrammetry users who work with smaller quantities of raw data. The tighter integration between LPS and ERDAS IMAGINE will enhance overall change detection and image classification capabilities.
LPS is part of Intergraph's extensive photogrammetric offering, which includes technology applicable for production, project and do-it-yourself photogrammetry. As part of Intergraph Geospatial Portfolio 2013, ERDAS IMAGINE 2013 will provide a united remote sensing and photogrammetry environment for users. LPS users will experience more simplified workflows for various types of data, such as raster, vector, GIS, point cloud and georeferenced tables, with the newly integrated LPS tools and features.
"With its tight integration with ERDAS IMAGINE, LPS is the ideal photogrammetric package for projects involving varied types of data and further processing and analysis of airborne and satellite imagery," said Mladen Stojic, Vice President – Geospatial, Intergraph. "In addition, users of smaller quantities of raw data will be able to simplify workflows for better change detection and classification capabilities, significantly helping organizations enhance overall decision making."
Intergraph is launching Intergraph Geospatial 2013 later this year. The united portfolio includes new releases of GeoMedia®, ERDAS IMAGINE, LPS, ImageStation, ERDAS APOLLO, GeoMedia Smart Client, GeoMedia Web Map, Geospatial Portal, and Geospatial SDI. In this modern and dynamic release, users will be able to discover and exploit the wealth of information contained in data from any source, share it rapidly (and securely), and deliver it on demand as reliable and actionable information to drive smarter decisions.
