HUNTSVILLE, Ala., September 29, 2014 – Intergraph® Process, Power & Marine (PP&M), the leading global provider of engineering software, will hold its annual Mexico user conference, IMEX 2014, in Mexico City on Tuesday, September 30.
Built on the theme of “Aprender, Crecer, Conectar” (Learn, Grow, Connect), IMEX 2014 will provide Mexico’s leading process, power and marine companies with an opportunity to connect with industry leaders, learn about the latest engineering development and leverage best practices from other companies.
IMEX 2014 will feature a keynote presentation by Adán Molina of Northam Engineering, who will discuss the implementation of SmartPlant® Enterprise. Several Intergraph technical experts are also scheduled to speak, including Charles Evans, chief technology officer and executive vice president of development for PP&M.
The leading engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) companies working in Mexico, in addition to representatives from the main divisions of Pemex, the state oil company of Mexico, will gather to discuss principal trends of engineering, safety, quality and productivity, in addition to the recent energy reforms implemented in the country. Attendees will focus on their experiences and share best practices in an open dialogue between engineering companies, supplies and owner operators.
“Mexico is experiencing one of its greatest reforms in years, not only in the energy sector, but also in other areas that will generate significant change and support growth throughout the country,” said Don Brundage, Intergraph PP&M executive vice president for the Americas. “At IMEX 2014, we will discuss how Intergraph technologies have evolved to meet the growing needs of local and international companies participating in these exciting developments.”
The conference is sponsored by Intergraph Process, Power & Marine, which has more than 30 years’ experience in providing local expertise and services to support engineering, procurement and construction companies and owner-operators executing projects and operating facilities in Mexico, delivering enhanced safety, quality, interoperability and productivity.
