HUNTSVILLE, Ala., May 20, 2015 – Intergraph® CADWorx® & Analysis University 2015 (CAU2015) is being held again as part of HxGN LIVE, Hexagon’s annual international user conference, set for June 1-4, 2015, at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. CAU2015@HxGN LIVE will feature advanced plant design and engineering instruction for current and future users of CADWorx®, CAESAR II®, PV Elite® and GT STRUDL®.
The conference includes informative lectures and hands-on labs led by designers, engineers and product developers, plus customer end-user interaction and networking opportunities. Attendees can select from dozens of educational classes, including 22 Intergraph CADWorx classes, 12 CAESAR II classes, 10 PV Elite classes, nine GT STRUDL classes and numerous customer success story presentations. CAU2015 attendees also have the option to attend over 150 engineering design-related HxGN LIVE sessions, based around a board range of Hexagon solutions, at no extra cost.
The winners of the annual Drivers of Success competition will be recognized during CAU2015@HxGN LIVE for their achievements and innovative use of CADWorx, CAESAR II and PV Elite, including applications of the products, impressive project results, integration of the products and significant benefits from collaboration among disciplines.
As part of a global event, CAU2015@HxGN LIVE welcomes international and domestic attendees who represent owner operators, small to large engineering, procurement and construction companies, and fabricators, all seeking to improve their design and engineering effectiveness.
CAU2015@HxGN LIVE opens on Monday, June 1, at 9 a.m. with the welcome keynote address by Rick Allen, president of Intergraph CADWorx & Analysis Solutions (ICAS). Allen will share his vision for the plant design industry and what ICAS is doing to meet current challenges and build on the strong capabilities that Intergraph solutions offer. Also, attendees will hear customer presentations as part of the keynote about how they have achieved success using Intergraph solutions.
“This is the eighth year we have held these CAU events, and they continue to offer a broad range of in-depth sessions for both experienced and new users of our products,” said Allen. “CAU2015 will be the first year that we will incorporate GT STRUDL into this event, something we started with our regional CAU Express events late last year. Attendees also will have the added opportunity to visit The Zone at HxGN LIVE for one-on-one product presentations and to interact with our product experts.”
Featured in The Zone at HxGN LIVE for the first time will be Intergraph Visual Vessel Design, a newly acquired solution for pressure vessel and heat exchanger analysis used by refiners, EPCs and independent consultants for onshore and offshore applications.
