NAVSEA III

Overview
Awarded to Intergraph on February 7, 2008, the NAVSEA III contract is a firm-fixed price, time and materials, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for information technology to include engineering systems/spare parts, design software, performance-based support services, maintenance and training in support of various NAVSEA computer-aided design projects. The NAVSEA III contract is a follow-on to the NAVSEA II contract awarded to Intergraph in 2004 from the United States Navy.
The contract, awarded and administered by the Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP) in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, supports Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) programs, the Navy’s SmartShip program and major Naval shipyards, several U.S. Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) programs and numerous programs at Warner Robins AFB. This contract has a total estimated cumulative value of nearly $45 million. Work is expected to be completed by August 2010.
Partnering with Intergraph on the NAVSEA III contract are several third-party vendors who will provide products, training and services. These third-party vendors include Siemens Government Services, Inc. (PLM Software), Hewlett-Packard (HP), Time Wise Management Systems, Striker Systems, Job Pack, Inc., and others.
