Complete System Administration

One unified national police agency, New Zealand Police provide services for the entire population and employs over 10,300 staff. New Zealand Police is the lead agency responsible for reducing crime, crime prevention and enhancing community safety and operate by land, sea and air. From more than 400 community-based stations Police respond to more than 1 million 111 calls each year - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  Communication centres are located in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch

Long-standing clients, New Zealand Police use Intergraph’s geographically based Computer Aided Dispatch System operating on a Microsoft Windows 2000 Server system. Intergraph has a facilities management contract with New Zealand Police for complete system administration. 

New Zealand Police and New Zealand Fire Service share the system and the servers at each communication centre, which each has a primary and secondary database server, web server, and four communications servers.
