Process Improvements through Lean Principles

plane Since 1994, Intergraph has supported the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center (WR-ALC) lean logistics initiative, providing Sensei/facilitation, integration, process modeling and simulation, supply chain management, program management, and training. Intergraph has led and implemented lean across the Center, including WR-ALC directorates and system program offices (C-5, C-130, C-141, Joint STARS), USAF Laboratory, Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

As a result, WR-ALC reduced C-130, C-141, and F-15 aircraft flow days by an average of 40 percent, reduced manufacturing materiel procurement time by 80 percent, and increased parts availability by up to 88 percent.
