Intergraph has international partnerships with the following leading academic organizations:

Association of Geographic Information Laboratories in Europe (AGILE)

AGILE's mission is to promote teaching and research on geospatial technology at the European level and to ensure the continuation of the networking activities that have emerged as a result of the EGIS Conferences and the European Science Foundation GISDATA Scientific Program. AGILE ensures that the views of the geographic information teaching and research community are fully represented in the discussions that take place on future European research agendas.

UNIGIS

UNIGIS is a network of universities cooperating in the design and delivery of distance learning in GIS. The UNIGIS program was founded in 1990 and currently includes sites in fourteen countries. Members of the UNIGIS network offer postgraduate Certificate, Diploma and Masters courses in Geographical Information Systems by open and distance learning. Core course resources are adapted, translated and supplemented with additional materials to support the needs of local students. Members of the UNIGIS network also work together in research and curriculum development activities related to GIS education.

United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF)

The USGIF is the first organization aimed at bringing together the many disciplines involved in the geospatial intelligence sector to exchange ideas, share best practices, and promote the importance of a national geospatial intelligence agenda. The foundation seeks to develop a stronger community of interest between government, industry, academia who share a mutual focus for the development of resources to address national security objectives. As a Patron Member of the organization, Intergraph provides services and support to help accomplish mutual goals.

University Consortium for Geographic Information Science (UCGIS)

UCGIS is a non-profit organization of universities and other research institutions dedicated to advancing our understanding of geographic processes and spatial relationships through improved theory, methods, technology and data. UCGIS membership is open to all U.S. academic and research organizations that meet the membership criteria. Member institutions have the opportunity to participate in reviewing and setting national research priorities in GIS and related specialties.
