Job Description
Position Summary/Purpose
This position is responsible for providing pre-sales, consulting and implementation support in relation to the successful selling and installation of technology solutions and to the ongoing support of customers.
Main Activities
- Delivering SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) based business analysis, consulting, implementation, administration, training, customisation and support services to customers
- Assisting the sales team with pre-sales activities including the development of formal proposals, conducting demonstrations and presentations
- Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of Intergraph SPF products to fulfill pre-sales and customer consulting tasks
- Ensuring the successful sales achievement and customer satisfaction through delivery of the highest quality technical support
- Advising management on industry standards and trends
- Undertaking tasks requiring technical analysis, diagnosis and problem solving, qualifying the product fit and defining support needs

Job Requirements
- Extensive Intergraph SmartPlant Foundation Implementation, Administration, Customisation and Support
- Experience within an EPC(M) or Owner Operator environment
- Several years experience in software development
- Strong experience in Distributed Systems Architecture and Object Oriented Programming
Experience in the following:
- C, C++
- Oracle 10g, SQL
- VB Script, XML and DHTML
- .Net Architecture, Visual Basic
Skills and Abilities
Essential
- Detailed skills, knowledge and technical ability in the relevant technological environment including Intergraph and Microsoft
- Analytical, diagnostic, project managing and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in the basic technologies underlying the IT industry
- Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to tailor and conduct appropriated presentations for different audiences
- Ability to effectively deliver training material to users
Education
- Tertiary level qualification in Computer Science or related discipline
