Course Descriptions

GeoMedia for Utilities (3 days)

This class is designed to fully introduce new and experienced users to usage and workflows with GeoMedia. This hands-on class will increase workplace productivity teaching the student conceptual aspects as well as the mechanics of working with real-world data. Students are fully introduced to the product's functionality through classroom exercises, including data connections, spatial analysis, plotting and more. The course is designed as a thorough introduction to GeoMedia and is appropriate for the first-time user as well as experienced users. Instructors use an interactive approach to introduce the required GIS concepts while demonstrating how to harness the power of GeoMedia within the workplace. This course is focused on the use of GeoMedia in the Utilities Sector. Back to Schedule.

G/Technology Administrator (5 days)

This course is designed for the administrator of the G/Technology application. It is a condensed session which will give the system administrator the knowledge to administer the G/Technology system. In addition, the students will learn how to configure metadata to enhance and/or modify the G/Technology model to meet industry/customer requirements. Back to Schedule.

G/Technology Designer (4 days)

This course is designed to give the complete overview of the G/Designer product, giving designers of any network industry (gas, pipeline, electrical, telecom and water) the knowledge to create, edit and manage the facilities information of their industry. The course is augmented with hands-on exercises which illustrates realistic workflows typical of any designer day’s work. Back to Schedule.

GeoMedia Developer (5 days)

This course is designed to give an overview of program public GIS automation objects exposed by GeoMedia product suite. This is not a detailed course on how to run GeoMedia products. This course explains product architecture and problem solving. The primary purpose is to learn a single technology that will allow you to customize and/or build applications in the context of any of the GeoMedia products. Back to Schedule.
