Job Summary
- Responsible for planning and managing the annual audit schedule, which is based on risk assessments, corporate
direction, and management request.
- Planning and performing of financial and operational audits of the Intergraph subsidiaries in Europe (17 countries) and
communicating the results of the audits to local, European and corporate management.
- Reviewing and evaluating the systems of internal controls and the (financial) reporting structures.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness in the controls of the organization.
- To participate in special projects and perform adhoc assignments as assigned by the Director.
- Reporting to the Director internal audit, based in Huntsville, USA
Skills
- University degree in Business Economics or equivalent (i.e. HEAO accountancy) and preferably a (nearly) finalized
post graduate education in auditing (RA/CPA)
- 2-5 years of relevant working experience with one of the larger audit firms or comparable experience, preferable with
an international company
- Knowledge of US generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and auditing standards (GAAS)
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all hierarchal levels within the company and in different
cultural environments;
- Ability to work independently and without close supervision
Additional Skills preferred
- Fluent in one additional Slavic language – preferably Russian or Polish
- Knowledge of compliance auditing in international operations, including the US Foreign Corrupt Practice Act
