As a Senior Hardware Design Engineer, you will work on exciting and challenging projects related to NovAtel’s GNSS products.  An expert in the design and development of complex multi-disciplinary hardware systems, your seniority will bring experience, expertise and functional leadership skills to our growing team in India. 

• Proven track record and hands-on experience with the design of complex hardware systems, including RF (up to 3GHz front ends), DSP, high-speed digital design, CPU and peripherals, high-feature-density design constraints, compliance with environmental and regulatory specifications (eg. FCC Part-15) and design for cost and manufacturability. 
• Practiced in the use of systems and functional modeling and simulation. 
• In-depth experience with at least one of the major hardware design tool packages such as CDS, Mentor etc. 
• NovAtel uses the Mentor Graphics suite of tools, with DX Designer being the schematic capture tool and Expedition being the PCB layout and library part creation tool. 
• The ability to travel to Canada for training and meetings is required.
