You will operate in a small responsive team of enthusiastic and professional technical consultants, and work closely with
many international Intergraph offices.
You will support the European Information Services team with technical and administrative networking duties.
Major Tasks
• Investigate the current global Domain Name System and all registered domain names of The Company
• Streamline the DNS registration and subscription management process.
• Propose and implement automated procedures and methods for these activities.
• Liaise with international offices to obtain all relevant information.
• Participate in regulars status meetings with Corporate Headquarter staff to report on DNS management progress.
• Provide adequate documentation and training supporting the proposed improved DNS management methodologies.
This role is reporting to the European Information Services Director.
Knowledge/ Skills
• Knowledge of the Domain Name System technology and administrative processes.
• Fluent in MS Office applications, broad Microsoft product overview preferred.
• Preferably knowledge of EU litigation with regards to DNS
• Knowledge of the English language, oral and written, is a must.
• Good relationship building and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a flexible multi-discipline and international environment.
Starting period
The internship will commence in 2008. The duration is estimated at 4-6 months.
