What will the course cover?
This course covers the day to day operation of the tools provided with PDS used to extract material takeoff reports, isometric drawings and general arrangement drawings.
The operational procedures required to generate reports from PDS Piping and Equipment models are presented. The operation of both interactive and batch isometric drawing extraction are presented. Within the batch environment the tools required to allow lines to be extracted and to revise the drawing tables are also presented. The operational procedures required to create general arrangement drawings using saved views, named items and clipping boundaries from the model will be presented together with annotation and hidden line removal.
This course does NOT cover the setup or customisation of the above products.

Who should attend?
This course is designed for designers and associated technicians responsible for the day to day production of the above deliverable products. Those responsible for project setup or customisation should attend the product specific courses held separately and NOT this course.

What are the prerequisites for attending this course?
- W/S Piping Design Operator
- Extensive experience in equipment layout/piping design/draughting
