What will the course cover?

This course is designed for piping designers, piping engineers, system programmers and system managers who will be responsible for clash detection in PDS projects, and for the creation and maintenance of interference detection reports. It is recommended that piping group leaders, supervisors or CAD coordinators attend this course. This course covers the setup and operation of the PDS Interference Management software. Included in this is the preparation of the database tables, the maintenance of verification envelopes and the detection of interferences on both a design area and project wide basis. Interference reports may be run when attendees already have experience of PDS reporting.

What are the prerequisites for attending this course?

As a minimum, students should have some familiarity with the PDS 3D Equipment & Piping Design (TPB3011). PDS Report Manager (TPB3018) desirable.
