What will the course cover?

The PDS Setup course is designed for the person(s) responsible for the creation and setup of the PDS 2D and 3D projects and related project files. All the prerequisite training must have been attended before attending this course. For PDS2D users, more comprehensive Project Setup training is included in the PDS P&ID and IDM Customisation courses (TPB3031, TPB3032).

This course is available only for PDS running on the Windows NT operating system.

  • How to create a project and project related files
  • How to revise seed data
  • How to modify locations of projects and project-related files
  • Configuring RDBMS for PDS projects

PDS software and project administrators.

How long is the course?

This is a 2 day course and may be held at Intergraph(UK) Training Center or on the customer site (normally in conjunction with a PDS installation).

What are the prerequisites for attending this course?

Attendees should have completed training on Windows NT Workstation and/or server administration, along with good working knowledge of the relational database to be used. This course is based on the use of Oracle for the relational database management systems.
