Hazid Technologies develops and owns the intellectual property of the HAZID knowledge base software. HAZID was first developed at Loughborough University, UK, under the leadership of the late Professor Frank Lees, and continued under the ESPRIT STOPHAZ project, with valuable technical input and testing by industrial partners ICI, Snamprogetti and VTT.
The product has subsequently been fully commercialized by Hazid Technologies, which retains a strong association with Loughborough University and one of the world-leading researchers, Professor Paul Chung. Hazid Technologies partners Intergraph Corporation, a worldwide leader in process plant design software.
