Intergraph^® breaks ground on new Huntsville facility

On Tuesday, October 16, Hexagon President and CEO Ola Rollén and Intergraph Executive Vice President of Human Resources and project lead Ed Porter, along with other Intergraph executives, gathered at the site of the facility to commence construction on the new, 250,000-square-foot Intergraph headquarters. Madison Mayor Paul Finley, Madison County Commission Chairman Mike Gillespie and Secretary of the Alabama Department of Commerce Greg Canfield attended the ceremony as well, and spoke about the facility and what it means to both Intergraph employees and the Madison County business community. Several members of the Huntsville media were also in attendance to cover the groundbreaking of the $58-million facility, expected to open in 2014.
