Ensure a Successful Implementation through our Three-stage Process

Intergraph Process, Power & Marine has evolved over the years from a provider of design tools to a full-suite applications provider covering all aspects of the design, build, and operate life cycle. The integration of these applications has seen a further evolution of our business into the enterprise-level space, through SmartPlant® Enterprise, SmartPlant Enterprise for Owner Operators, and SmartMarine® Enterprise.

The popularity of this enterprise concept has meant a rapid increase in the number of companies adopting it, usually as a corporate or global standard. Because the approach can cross many different disciplines, departments, and even countries, our project services capabilities have changed to address these new challenges. Intergraph projects are defined, scoped, resourced, and managed so that they can be delivered and signed-off in a reliable and repeatable fashion, using minimal services. Intergraph Process, Power & Marine Services applies a three-stage process to ensure the success of our implementations, with the key resources being:

• A business analyst who consults with the various departments of an organization to define the business issues that need to be resolved. The analyst works with our clients to prioritize their requirements according to greatest business benefit, and develops a roadmap for the introduction of solutions.
• A solution architect takes the requirements and roadmap developed by the business analyst and constructs a solution that meets the requirements in accordance with the roadmap.
• A project manager builds the project plan from an agreed task list and then allocates resources from Intergraph, contractors, and the client to tasks in the project plan.

Our goal is always to ensure that the solutions being deployed truly meet our customer requirements — delivered on time and on budget.
