Intergraph Acquires SIGRAPH® Electrical Engineering Software Business Unit from TCS

Intergraph has acquired the SIGRAPH® business unit from Technische Computer Systeme Sussen GmbH (TCS), a leading computer-aided engineering and document management system (CAE/DMS) vendor headquartered Sussen, Germany. The acquisition includes SIGRAPH.CAE, an innovative software application for electrical and process control engineering with a significant market presence in the global oil and gas, metals, and power industries.
This acquisition will further strengthen Intergraph’s SmartPlant® Enterprise suite through additional detailed electrical and control system design and deliverables capabilities. The new SIGRAPH-powered SmartPlant Electrical module extends the current scope of SmartPlant Electrical with detailed design tasks for engineering and manufacturing electrical panels, including factory acceptance testing (FAT), construction, and operations of the electrical distribution and controls.

Die Akquisition beinhaltet auch SIGRAPH.CAE, eine innovative Softwareanwendung für Elektro- und Prozessleittechnik, die in zahlreichen Unternehmen der Branchen Öl & Gas, Stahl, Energie und Infrastruktur weltweit zum Einsatz kommt.

Das neue SIGRAPH-getriebene Modul SmartPlant Electrical erweitert die momentane Bandbreite von SmartPlant Electrical um detaillierte Design-Aufgaben für das Engineering und die Herstellung von Elektroschalttafeln, inklusive Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Konstruktion und den Betrieb der Energieverteilung und Kontrolle.
