SmartPlant® Markup

Supported File Formats

SmartPlant Markup enables internal viewers to display MicroStation, Intergraph raster, and AutoCAD files. SmartPlant Markup allows you to freely interchange between built-in viewers at any time and also allows you to specify external applications to be launched for view only.

SmartPlant Markup Plus can display and markup more than 150 file types. However, it should be noted that SmartPlant Markup Plus incorporates VSET Viewer technology from a leading third party vendor, Cimmetry Systems (CSI), to display several of these formats, and so the quality of display of these files, such as Microsoft Word and Excel, is dependent on the vendor.

The following file formats are supported in SmartPlant Markup and SmartPlant Markup Plus. File types listed in bold are supported by the SmartPlant Markup base product; all other files are available with SmartPlant Markup Plus and require the CSI viewer.
