What's New in SmartSketch 2007

SmartSketch 2007 includes the ability to:

Measure along a curve for enhanced productivity
Trim and extend by a point or element for fast and easy modifications
Save as a .pdf to share your work easily with others
Publish SmartSketch files to SmartPlant Enterprise for better document management and make the files available for other disciplines and parties to use in the overall work process
Create a custom title block using title block fields to facilitate revision notifications and key item data updates
Check out a license on your laptop to perform work at the time and place most convenient for you

Other existing key capabilities that make SmartSketch the technical drafting tool of choice include:

Polygon Fence Locate:
A command to locate elements using a polygonal fence. Includes element filtering
Nudge:
A command to move selected graphical objects using the arrow keys.
Split/Segment at a user defined point:
A new option on the split toolbar to split (break) or segment an object at a user-defined point
Customize Keyboard:
An add-in for mapping keyboard shortcuts to commands in SmartSketch
Document Explorer:
An add-in to view the contents of a document in a tree view form
Remove Empty Layers:
A command that removes empty layers in a document
To Do List:
An add-in to track tasks as a "To Do list" in a document
Pattern Linewidth:
A new button on the Fill ribbon for applying a linewidth to hatch patterns
"Do Not Print" Style:
A new option for linear styles to display on the screen, but not on a printed drawing
Support for AutoCAD 2004-2006:
When opening .DWG files, AutoCAD versions through 2006 are now supported
