Northern Territory Improves Communications and Resource Management Across Multiple Services (Case Study)

The Northern Territory Police, Fire, and Emergency Services in Australia provides policing, fire prevention, and emergency response. It encompasses more than 1,650 employees with sworn strength of approximately 1050 police officers, 130 firefighters, and more than 200 civilians. The agency chose Intergraph CAD to help dispatchers answer calls, enter incident information, and forward calls as needed. It also allows remote personnel to retrieve dispatch information using only a Web browser and the agency intranet.
