What is G/Technology Fiber Optic Works?
G/Technology Fiber Optic Works 1.0 is a software product designed to enable the design and management of fiber optic communications infrastructure for public and private utilities, communications providers, and municipalities and state agencies. Fiber is a fundamental component of high-speed broadband communications networks required for smart grid techology, fiber to the home (FTTH, FTTx), and intelligent roadway information management systems. Each of these solutions link sensors, communications, and critical infrastructure through high-speed backhaul communications implemented with a fiber optic network.
As an add-on to Intergraph’s G/Technology infrastructure management product family, Fiber Optic Works meets the need for an enterprise data environment that supports workflows that span your organization. You can view the resulting fiber network and details about each cable and device from the Fiber Optic Works Designer and Analyst seats.
Our Fiber Optic Works solution is a complete, enterprise-scalable design and asset management system that allows you to efficiently manage the circuit complexity of a geospatially dispersed fiber optic communications network infrastructure, all in one integrated system.
